In honour of Mandela Day, Thabaletsi Tombstones is launching our charity drive to give back to the people of Limpopo. We aim to support local communities by collecting essential items and donating them to the Step Ahead Foundation.
Here’s how you can participate and make a difference!
Thabaletsi Blanket Drive
This year, we’re primarily focusing on a blanket drive. With winter in full swing, warmth and comfort are more pressing than ever. The blanket drive seeks to provide second-hand clothes, toys, non-perishable food items, and other essentials to those in need.
The charity we’re supporting
All collected items will be donated to the Step Ahead Foundation, founded by Themba Mhlongo. The foundation empowers boys by mentoring them and providing positive male role models to reduce gender-based violence. It also supports victims of abuse and offers shelter and various support services. Here is where your donations will help the foundation expand its important work in the community.
How to get involved
Getting involved is easy and rewarding. You can contribute by donating any of the following items:
- Second-hand clothes
- Non-perishable food items
- Toys
- Other essential items
Donations can be dropped off at any Thabaletsi branch. Your generosity will go a long way in supporting Step Ahead, combating GBV, and building stronger role models for young boys in South Africa.
