- Provide the full details
You will be requested to inform us where your loved one was buried, so we can see how far this is from our nearest branch. If the cemetery or burial place is within 100km of our nearest branch, delivery will be free. However, for any distance beyond 100km, a fee will be charged and included in the quotation.
If you are paying by instalment plan, we will ask you for a copy of your identity document to enable us to open your account with us.
- Get a Quotation
Once we have decided on your tombstone choice and the details you want on it, we will send you a clear and detailed quotation with our terms and conditions. This will include the price, materials and delivery costs, if any, so you know exactly what you’re paying for and going to get.
We will also send you a computer generated drawing of what the final tombstone will look like.
Tip 1: We are happy to receive full payment for the tombstone from you, but if you are unable to pay the cost of the tombstone you like in one payment, we are willing to receive the amount in agreed instalments under our lay-bye plan. Just let us know whether you will be paying in full or by lay-bye as you sign our terms and conditions.
- Confirm Your Order and Pay
Once you have reviewed the quotation and drawing, we will need you to confirm your order with us by paying the amount into the account indicated on our quotation and by signing our terms and conditions. Then send the proof of payment and the signed terms and conditions to us.
Once we have received these documents, we will start on preparing the tombstone.
Tip: Only pay using the account details indicated on our quotation and email your proof of payment to admin@thabaletsi.co.za. This is important as until you do so, we may not be able to link your payment to your order and this could delay the start of work on your loved one’s tombstone.
- Receive your Receipts for Payments
We will send you a receipt for every payment made to us by sms. We will also have physical receipts available for collection from the branch nearest the burial site, should you or a person you allow, be able to collect.
Please keep all your receipts and proof of bank payments safe.
- Confirmation Phone Call
We will have your loved one’s tombstone ready for installation within 21 days of you having paid for the tombstone in full and having confirmed that you are happy with the drawing of the tombstone lay-out.
When everything is in order, you will receive a phone call advising you that production has begun; and the tombstone will be ready for installation in 21 days. This may change slightly depending on weather or other operational delays.
- Installation of the Tombstone at the Cemetery
For installation, please ensure that your relative, or someone authorised by you to be present at the cemetery on the day of installation, is there to sign our documentation and to confirm to you that all is in order.
We are happy to send you pictures of the tombstone honouring your loved one at the cemetery, should you ask us for them.
